Super Newbie!!

I've just started working with PS 6(2 weeks). I know that preferences need to be deleted and can be done 2 ways - apparently? However, when I use shift-ctrl-alt. I get a diologue box asking about deleting settings and not just preferences. I've been reading the Bible and he says the dialogue states preferences. Thoughts on this? Thanks in advance for your help.

Deleting your preferences will delete your settings.

This is the best forum that you will find! Nothing beats the experience and knowledge found in it's member base. I hope that you enjoy the cafe and I am new also. I think that I am going on 4-5 weeks. :D

If you really want more help, buy one or two of Colins' books. The are superb!! I also have Photoshop 6 for the World Wide Web which is real good as well.

Also, jump into some tutorials. I use Colin's tutorials on this site. They have helped me so much and I always refer back to them.
