I can't seem to get it to work, like I can with a desktop. "Alt+0169" does not work :(

From where? Like a website somewhere? Isn't there a way to make it in DW?

The one in DW is the HTML version of a © symbol.

use the character map in Windows.

On a mac it's just a matter of pressing alt-g .... if it's for internet use, you can put

©

and it'll render as a ©.
