Im in caca, you know, I took a scan pic and did all the contours but in different layers, like the hair in one layer, the body in another one, and after doing all the pic I tried to colour it but when I use the paint bucket, it paints all the image, and not what I want even if I select it, so I think I made a mistake and wanted to know how to reput all in only one layer, like transfer from one to another, if it's possible or any other ideas.... tanx

Play with different blending modes...you can also colorize images with Hue/Saturation (ctrl+u) check the colorize button.

I'm not quite sure what you mean but you can select what's on an individual layer by Ctl?Cmd + clicking on the layer in the layers pallette. Hope that helps. :)

Well I teach PS basics, and the #1 problem the students have is just being on the correct layer! Especially in selection cases! It is the first thing I thought of when reading your first post. The second post threw me…
The other things are that the selection may be selecting more then you think? Or be inversed?
Doing what Cfire said may help that too.
I am also having trouble understand what you are trying to accomplish.
Let us know how it goes!

If you ctrl+C to copy a selection (or ctrl+X to cut it out) you can the press ctrl+V to paste it back in, and
IT WILL THEN BE ON IT’S OWN LAYER :)
that help???

It's okay, tanks yall, the problem was that I was using the magic wand, and it was only selecting the contours so when I used the paint bucket oustide my selection (contours), It painted all the pic, so I used the magnetic lasso and now everything works, tnx anyways!!!!
