Restoring defaults to photoshop 7.

how do i do this?
i'm using my brother's laptop since my processor died and on a limited account so i can't reinstall it again. And i'm scared i won't be able to use a cpu for the rest of my holidays and end up wasting it if he finds out. I really screwed the system once or twice by "fiddling" with the windows' files. My brother's in a bad enough temper already. So please help!

If you are refering to the Photoshop default settings, you can start the program and then hold Ctrl+Alt+Shift while Photoshop is loading. A dialog window will come up to verify that you want to restore the default settings.
