my friends parents got one of these each.. his mum loved it as she has never had a phone before.. his dad who has had a few before gave it away and invested in a much better one :)

yeah nokias have never been at all bad for me.. but i see a phone as something that i use everyday so would like to spend a bit more and get a nice one

John Hughes...Most Nokia's, if not all are unlocked easily. Believe it or not most can get unlocked via a simple string of key presses :) I unlocked both my 7600 and N-Gage within 5 seconds...But be carefull, as you get 5 attempts to unlock it via keypad, and theres 7 codes generated with the unlocking software (a simple program for the PC which takes your IMEI, Phone make and type etc then calculates codes)...But the 1st and seventh code are usually the jackpot ones ;)

This seems like an old-ish phone though, so it may only be unlocked via cable...I dont know anything about this phone though so you take a chance with it.

This phone can be unlocked via the keypad method.
its not an old phone, its brand new, just a new basic phone that nokia has released.
