fixing blur in pictures

Is there a way to fix the blur in a picture. Can Photoshop 7 fix this problem or I have to use some other program?

Hiya

Try changing the contast and brightness!!
or
Sharpen parts of the image with the sharpen tool, or sharpen the lot with an unsharp max. 'filter' 'sharpen' 'unsharp max' (don't set it too sharp or you'll pixelate the image)

I tried that but was unable to fix the blur.

Must be a badly blurred image. If the detail isn't their in the first place, it's gonna be hard to get it back.

Try adjusting your levels, this lets some more detail show up.

If you can post the image here, I may be able to suggets sumfin else.

I can do it right now. I'm @ work and really, I'm not suppose to be doing this...

another sharpening technique is making a duplicate of the layer, applying high pass, then setting the blending mode to hard light (and tweak the opacity)

but I agree, if the detail is lost, you couldn't recover it...
