Looking for c&c on this logo. The client is a fireworks importer/wholesaler.

 Smooth. Looks like a skating brand, you know, could be on stickers?

Great job. :)

Thanks for your comments guys. The logo will be scaled down quite a bit and will be applied to different fireworks items so I had to keep it pretty simple so as not to get lost in the busy designs the labels tend to have.

A succesful logo should look just as good on business card or a pen as it does on a billboard or a poster. :)

Me too, I had to do a version for a dark bg since most of the labels on the client's products have black/dark bg's.

I make designs for a fireworks company too!
:roll

The logo is great; will be visible but not dominant. I like it!

PS: the fact that the left "burst" under the p and s isn't circular like the right one is, disturbs me now that I noticed it. :P I understand why, but maybe just enlarging it would be better? Now it looks like it's not on purpose. Or is it an optical illusion? .... 'cause now the right one doesn't look circular either.
I better go lie down.

Really? Cool! Do you mind saying which one? We need to talk.

lol. It's a norwegian company, called "Star Pyrotechnic". I haven't made them a logo though, they have their name in plain futura condensed bold in yellow.
I haven't made their website either, if it's up. They were down last I heard, they're in the process of merging with another company.
Talk away! U2U me.

I sent you a U2U. If it's *this site* (http://www.starpyro.no) then it's up & running.

yeah, that's the old one, with no products newer than 5 years I think. I'd rather post some examples tomrrow if you don't mind. ;)

That's a great logo...simple, eye-catching & evocative of the product. :)
