Hi everyone!
I'm Max. I've been into PS for a few years now, just started getting into digital photography. I used to frequent the Cafe, but with school and a busy life I never had time to register. The Photography section is what brought me to finally register this time around; well that and talks of a Dreamweaver Cafe.
My passions are love, pictures, food, cars, motorcycles, pool and, the environment.
I love taking pictures! Occasionally I'll get lucky and end up with a photo or two. I'm using a Canon Powershot G2 (http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/canong2/). I chose the G2 for its resoultion, package, features, and compatibility with a 1GB Microdrive. I've been shooting for a few months, already I have a favorite type of photography - Macro. The hidden details that a good lens/camera can reveal are amazing. Each picture turns a split second view into a journey of the unkown.
To me, food is as important as the air I breathe. Cooking sparks my interest because I start with raw materials to create something that pleases my eye, nose, tongue and, body. About a year ago I decided to become a vegetarian. I can't reccomend it enough! The energy boost is one of the best parts.

While my car of choice is currently a 1997 Honda Prelude Type SH (http://www.purehonda.com/preludemt.html), I enjoy all well made, i.e. mostly imported, sports cars. I've worked at dealerships and car-care companies, mostly just to drive the new and improved of the auto world.
Motorcylces have been a part of my life since I was 8. I learned to ride in our alley on a Honda 70cc Passport with a 3 speed. The total control and feel for the road are my favorite parts of riding. I must say that Ice Racing was one of the best times I've had on a bike.
Pool is one of the hardest easy games to master. You can usually find me sharking around somepalce in Milwaukee at least 4 times a week. In fact, I'd like to open a pool hall and restaurant to cater to the 18-21 crowd here in Milwaukee. I started playing about a year ago after seeing "The Color of Money" (http://www.blockbuster.com/bb/movie/details/0,7286,VID-V++++10310,00.html) for the first time. The movie illustrates my addiction to pool quite well.
Although listed last, our environment should be the first thing on everyone's mind. Why would we want to harm/destroy the medium in which we live? Why would we not care about the future, and protect our planet for our children? In the age of right now or sooner we all need to step back and think about what is really important. Hint: it isn't money.
