View Full Version : may be a stupid question
i did one of the mega tutorials, made my own background and someone said i need to work on aliasing. the design is here http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/1146020 and the comment is below it. what do i need to do? is their a tutorial? or is it a quick fix?

Yeah, u got pixels man, but cool design!
Just make sure u use the Brush or AirBrush tool and under the brushes tab in the upper right of p-shop have 'smoothing' checked. I haven't checked the tut so if you are required to do selections n' cuts check the 'antiailiasing' option in the upper horizontal toolbar if it ever appears, it keeps things lookin' smooth!
to correct pixel probs try blurring the problem item w/ a gaussian blur, then flattening it upon a layer either white or black, then going to image>adjustmnts>levels and moving the triangles as close together as possible w/o pixelating the messed line too much, then cut the line out w/ the magic wand! (just cut out the stuff surrounding the line, check antiailiasing any time the option's availible)
