Hey everybody... well, I think I'm finally gonna make the jump to a pay per month website, and I was wondering if anyone knows of any particularly good website hosts... Mind you, I'm talking about the pay kind of host, not free, thanks for your relplies everyone!

I just signed up with technolojik.net last week. They have very reasonably priced plans starting at just over a dollar a month. I opted for the UNIX Gold plan, but when they set up my account, they gave me all options of the SPECIAL UNIX plan for no charge. (Not gonna make a stink of it, lol) However, I must tell you my domain name has still not been registered, and my ftp space is still locked. Not really sure why. Anyway, the support so far has been quite good (response within an hour or so). I will keep you updated.

I may be able to get some kinda deal going with my host for members of the CAFE. Only a possibility mind you. For talkings sake though, what would you be after and what features would you require.
I'll see what I can do!! No promises though.

Link (http://hummingbirdhosting.com)
I have been using them for over a month now. No downtime, good customer support. good speed. A ton of space and bandwidth.
For $10.00 a month you get
1GB of space
6.4 GB of bandwidth
up to 5 domains hosted on one account (meaning you could sell/give space to your friends)
Supports everything imaginable. (java/php/sql) take a look. you won't be disapointed. Or I haven't at least.
No contract, pay by the month or year. If you don't like it don't have to keep it.

http://www.technolojik.net Ouch Unlimited. That word with providers is one to watch. Sounds like a reseller with a few deds and burstable bandwidth, Always check out webhostingtalk (http://www.webhostingtalk.com) and use the search function to search for your or your soon to be host and see what others are saying about it!!
Good way to avoid a loss of cash.
