digital camcorder lights

this goes along with my band photos question...
i also shoot video for a band but i'm having a lighting problem. i need a light for my camcorder. i dont want it to be to bright so it distracts the band but i need it to be able to pick up the dark parts of the stage. i have a panasonic, any sugestions on lights or wats or anything else

First, if you regularly go to a club ask if you can put up/adjust the stage spots. Looks much better.
I've had pretty good luck at local clubs.

To do what you're asking would require 3-4 adjustable lights with diffusers/opals on them.
