hey frostedweb, i got the same thing as you. i'm slightly longsighted, so i get a headache if i dont use my glasses when reading or using the computer.

its not worth getting contacts. they are completely overrated unless you have to wear glasses 24/7 in order to function normally. which you obviously don't.
otherwise you have two choices : you can choose to take contacts on and off a thousand times a day (which is a lot harder than taking glasses on and off, and you will probably lose them a lot if you do this, which is not good, as contacts are not cheap by any means), or you can walk around in blurriness all day.

go for the glasses.
there is nothing wrong with reading glasses.
imo, a good pair of glasses makes you look older, smarter, and wiser. especially when you're using the computer or reading.

if ppl wanna bag you out about it, say something like "all the better to see you with, my dear." i'm sure you're capable of coming up with witty remarks, but the point is, show them you don't care what they think, and that you don't really care what they say - if you take it to heart (which it is totally not worth doing), then they'll only get worse.

and if you need them at school, take them to school. otherwise you can further damage your eyes by straining them and making them work too hard.

get a pair that really suit you, and learn to like them.
:D

Davey, not bad...at least you can still carry yourself out in wearing glasses. I can't be sure about myself though....

while we are at it, maybe u'll like to see a website i've done about glasses....some tips and tricks on choosing the correct frame for the different face shapes

website link (http://www.geocities.com/grooovylim)

**warning** i have some problems making the preloader so the intro might play suddenly without any notice. The whole website weighs like 900kb so 56K users might need to wait a while.
