how do u image map using adobe?

Do you mean in golive?
with the picture you want to map, go to more in the inspector palette, then check for "use map"
Now you can map your image with the rectangle, circle and polygon buttons in the top left corner.
Dont know if this is what you were asking for, maby you mean slicing..anyways..
