very very dark, and the colors are dull, but otherwise its pretty nice.

I see it very clear and not dark at all....

what puter do you use? calibrated your monitor? for what browser is it best optimized?

Calibrate my monitor? How?
I use IE6.

there is a whole new world under edit/preferences
and edit/COLORSETTINGS
in Adobe for a lot things

monitor you can calibrate through (at my puter) start / configuration / Adobe Gamma
