I'm in charge of designing a t-shirt for my schools upcoming battle of the bands contest. This is what i have so far, its alil messy, and i would like some ideas on how to make it more appealing.

T-shirt print is a "course" print. You should lose the metal thing in your upper right corner and around one of the band-names. Because: It looks like a single color print, exept to get the right structure and shading on the metal, you'd have to use at least 4 colors. it will NOT look good in one color. I don't think your client will be willing to pay the extra money for that. :) Other than that, me likes! Very grungy and cool, suitable for the assignment.

the look fits the event....

I've designed flyers and such before and the one thing I noticed was that it was a bit confusing as to what was what. The date, time and promotion name are the same as the band names. whenever i design a flyer, I always make the company name (Superior FBLA Presents) more ledgeable as well as the date and time. those are the important info, especially the people who are sponsoring the event, you definately want to make their name at least stand out so the name of the comp. gets out.

the band info looks tight, the overall look is great, i agree with emm about the metal bars... keep it simple.. sometime it can look a lot better when its to the point!

good job!
