this list got lost with the recent hack.
due to request (yohul!), here is it again:

the article is form a GERMAN magazine called "PAGE" (digital design & mediaproduction)
so itīs focused on the german/european design scene !
unfortunatley i donīt have a scanner in reach, and if i had....you wont understand a word ;)

very European, interesting. I dont know where I might find an American counterexample but generally its similar. Heres what I think though, any sytle or scheme -can- work as long as its done well and to an appropriate client. For example, you wouldnt use crazy plaid flash animation with abstract 3D for a law firm or something.

I dont know if I agree with all the outs though. I think you can still use stripes, cubes, and outline drawings as long as they are done well, subtly and consistently.

By the way, I think your English is better than you give credit for.

thanks for the work you put down for us !

Although the statements are very general
I feel very European an can relate to whatīs in and whatīs out despite my own style of page.

Taste regarding style and design can vary greatly depending on country and preferences.
