I downloaded the demo version of Max 6 and decided to try a tut from 3d-palace and came up with this .avi file. It's not great but it was fun to fool around with.

wow thats freaky :-P
it would be cooler if the particles came off the skul in an uneven line instead of an almost straight line.

You're absolutely right but I wasn't even goind to take it this far and I have an idea on how I would do that but decided to just leave it as is.
There are a couple of things that don't look right but I'll fix that the next time I do anything like this, I was just expeimenting here.
