I think that tut will be too much to post...It probably would be on a super tutorial one of these days...but for now all I can say is try getting to know Illustrator and PS combos, get to know lighting,detailing,bevels...you know what I mean. maybe one of the guys/gals in here have a simple put-together on how to start on a guitar...IDK(I dont Know) thats all I can say get to know how to transfer files from Illu. to PS too (thats important),. Other than that all I can finish off with is by saying get to know some of the Tuts and from there you'll get an Idea:D, Good Luck!

I'm still mid level when it comes to Photoshop. But I do know Illustrater.

And I will tell you, with enough drawing knowledge, you can complete a guitar of that calibur.

The best advice I could give you, take a sample of Kiwi's guitar. Then upload it to ILLUSTRATER, After that get used to the pen tool by outlining the shapes of the guitar perfectly. Then work with the gradient mesh command or gradient tool its self.Take advantage of the send to back command for the black outline or simply draw it in yourself if your solid with brushes.

Thats about it, i'd say use illustrater, it really helps you become a better graphics artists as to always using filters and what not. However filters do have their plus side. But I personally like to draw.
