I saw a pic of this at CGNetworks and thought it might be fun to try. It still needs work.

Very nice, are you keeping those colors for the vehicle?
01-09-2004, 12:36 PM
Thanks, I was keeping these colors as a base for the finish. Here's another view and also the pic I was working from, you'll notice some obvious diffrences, I probably should have printed the pic instead of relying on memory.

When I look at it I hear the StarWars theme song start to play in my head.
Looks like something that belongs in the movie.
Great job. Texturing it?

Undersketched, I'm not sure where I'm going with this, I might be finished. I saw the pic and thought it would be fun to try but texturing is tough for me, although this might be a good model to practice with, we'll see.
Thanks for the comments.

Love the model.
You got a wireframe to post.
As mentioned in other threads.

Wow! that looks really good.
Just curious what program you used for this? and how long did it take you?
01-20-2004, 02:16 PM
Thanks casper, I used 3D Max and it took a day or so on and off.
Dam Nice Bump maping there, you still go some wired bits on it that dont look right.
like the to semi circle tubes you have there when they attach to the rest of the modle its just a black square.
But nice work.
