basically i want to create two effects for two different flash projects
the first one :
i want text to fall from the top of the scene to the center and bounce up and down and loop on the bouncing part do i tween it or use script or what? if im tweening how do i make sure it all lines up and doesnt go crooked?
the second one:
i want to zoom in on my menu when the user clicks it. say they click "home" home then zooms in and fills a bit more of the screen than the rest of the menu. would i have to create a vector image for this or could i get away with bmp/jpg/gif?
hope someone understands what i mean by all that

I think scripting is more versatile and more inexpensive in terms of bytes, you could make a guide so that the logo follow the path that the guide indicates, you should put the ease of the tweening to 100 or -100 depending on the effect you want to achieve.
You'd better create a vector logo.

ok i didnt specify what i meant....... im totally retarded... not how would i do it? i mean how exactly would i go about doing it? is there a zoom tween? where can i find scripting help etc
also another question can you loop one sound without making multiple copies (i looked in help for it but i couldnt find anything) i want to play one sound about 15 times and play the scene normally but the mp3 alone is 230KB without video and thats a really crap quality if i could loop the sound then it would bring it down to a fraction of that
like this :
sound loop sound loop sound loop sound loop sound loop sound loop end sounds
video ---------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------- video stop (no loops)

The bouncing text should be quite simple to do with a little scripting.
Don't worry, I won't make you go out and learn it on your own. I certainly didn't.
I posted a good link to scripts for all kinds of movement (actually part of a fantastic tutorial). But it may take me a while to dig it up.
As for the sound looping thing, I pretty sure that looping is one of the properties for a sound clip that you import into Flash, so check your properties inspector and I think that you will find a little check box for looping.
Then you need to find a way to have the video checked for activity. What I mean is that there has to be some way of determining whether or not the video is playing and if it is not then send a stop action to the sound clip.
It would look something like this:
_root.movie clip.sound name.stop()
Wow, after a little check of the action script dictionary, I found this.
sound.start(secondoffset , loop)
where second offset can be ignored and omitted in your case and loop specifies the number of loops your sound clip should do.
