Find yourself a (free) web host which allows image linking. Upload image to your server space, then use the options when posting a new thread/reply to either embed or attach an image.

Please also take note that embedded images are to have a max filesize of 60KB.
This means that when you reply or post a topic, you may embed either an image or a link to the image. You should only embed the image in the post if it is 60KB or less, but if its over the 60KB, then you must link to it.
Par example
Embedded image:
http://www.dreamcities.org/~kristoficus/newav.gif
Notice how this is under 60KB, and so its fine to embed the image.
Linked image
Linked image (http://www.dreamcities.org/~kristoficus/WatcherOfPeople2.jpg)
Notice how this image is above 60KB, and so it needs to be linked to.

Well, you could give a whack at dreamcities.org (i use them), but you need to fill out a sort of application form. This will be reveiwed by the owner (Gideon) and if he likes your idea (ohh, u need a website first of all) he will wllow u space on his server which has PHP, MySQL etc.
But this may be more advanced for what u wish to do. For image hosting only i recommedn lycos.co.uk. They are free, offer 50MB and allow remote linking, and they are reasonable speed too.
