Derbuer, Ultrashock and 2advanced have no relation what so ever. Ultrashock has an award they give out called BOMBSHOCK. Due to derbauers awesome site they recieved that award. Far as Ultrashock affiliated with 2advanced, they advertising and use their hosting service. (but (mt) aka media temple is still the best ;))

Well mutiny, if you abandoned Photoshop you could never make a site like that. You cannot create awesome graphics in Flash. Most of the graphics are made in Photoshop and then run through After Effects and finally into Flash :)

Can you elaborate on After Effects? I abandoned Flash many times because of my inability to make good graphics using the program. Thought it was just me. Nothing in there compares to things I can do with Photoshop.

After Effects is a tool used for motion graphics and visual effects. If you have ever surfed the web and seen videos of people fighting with light sabers, that was most likely crafted in AE. Lately a lot of high profile web designers have been introducing hardcore AE into Flash. If you plan on learning AE, plan on a few good solid months of training yourself. That's why you'll notice most entrepreneur's only learning Photoshop, due to giving decent results off the bat with little work. Here is a great example of Flash and a nice mix AE.

If you have your doubt's about Flash being a phenomenal design tool, check out this girl's porfolio. The illustrations she can do in Macromedia Flash are mind blowing. I can't think of many hardcore Illustrator or Freehand users that compare to her wonderful talent. Here is the link to her porfolio:
